What’s My
Approach?
I believe that when a woman discovers her own authentic beauty, it will positively change every other aspect of her life, from the choices she makes, to the chances she’s willing to take, and the way she reaches out to others in her world.
Your purpose in this world is much more powerful than manipulating the shape of your body, and I am all about helping you discover what that is. You can improve your relationship with food and your body, get out of your own way, and be more confident and courageous in achieving everything you want in life. Even if that is as simple as more fully engaging in and enjoying the life you already have.
Dynamic Eating Psychology
is a positive, empowering and transformational approach that’s designed for anyone who eats. Each of us has a unique, fascinating, and ever-changing relationship with food. It sees challenges with eating, weight and health not as an indication that we’re broken, but as a beautiful opportunity to grow and evolve. Our relationship with food has important lessons to teach us if we choose to listen. Dynamic Eating Psychology is a powerful breakthrough approach.
Mind Body Nutrition
focuses on the fascinating connections between brain, body, and behavior. Simply put, what we eat is only half of the story of good nutrition. The other half is who we are as eaters, and what we “bring to the table” when we sit down to eat. Mind Body Nutrition reveals that there are many areas of life that profoundly influence digestion and calorie burning.
- Too many of us are blinded to our greatness by society’s message that we are not enough, and we let that lie hold us back from realizing our potential.
- The truth is, you are not broken, and you don’t need fixing.
- What you DO need is to truly get to know yourself, your body, and its needs; learn to nourish yourself, not just feed your body; and become your own best friend and ally.
- Many of the tools and techniques I use in my coaching come from the concepts of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition that I learned through The Institute for the Psychology of Eating (IPE).
The seed for Beauty Revolution began growing long ago, when as a child, I watched a simple shampoo commercial. I saw a woman with long, blond, curly locks, who seemed sooo happy! After convincing my mom to buy the shampoo and excitedly using it, I was devastated to look in the mirror and see the same short, brown, straight hair that had always graced my head.
As I grew into a young woman, my body was not paying any attention to the “script” society sent out, and I realized more and more that I would never look like the images reflected back to me on the screen, or from the glossy pages of a magazine. For many years, I let these thoughts hold me captive, dictate my worth, and keep me from discovering and celebrating my own authentic beauty.
As an adult woman, I have become more savvy to the false world of fashion and beauty. Although, admittedly, a small part of me still wants to fit in and thinks I need to try. The more I have talked with other women, the more I see that negative body image has an effect on virtually EVERY woman to one degree or another.

Beauty as defined by our society is a fickle friend, constantly changing. The only thing that won’t change are the unrealistic expectations that go along with it. They will continue to swing from one end of the pendulum to the other. We can’t afford to let that shape our lives or how we feel about ourselves, but too many of us do.
What about you?
Do you long to look in the mirror and love what you see?
Do you want to confidently set goals and work toward achieving them?
Do you want to really LIVE your life, and inspire those around you to live their best lives?
Then, my friend, you are in the right place! I also want those things for you, for me, for every woman in the world, who has a body and struggles with its imperfection. I want to empower every woman to feel beautiful, confident and at peace with her body, because how we feel about our looks has an impact on every other aspect of our lives.
Through years of academic research, life’s experiences, and my own work on self, I’ve come to see and appreciate my authentic beauty, and use it to create a life I love. Discovering and accessing your true beauty will help you overcome challenges, make meaningful changes, and achieve your dreams. Claim your own beauty, and watch the magic happen!

- Confused about how to achieve a happy relationship with food and your body?
My friend, you are not alone! It’s a crazy world out there. What’s a gal to do?
Come have a chat with me! I’ve been there.
For many years I fought my body, subjecting it to different diet plans (not to mention all the “newest, latest, greatest” exercise programs) to lose weight and change its shape. I finally found THE answer, when I realized it wasn’t in the all places I had been looking–outside myself. True beauty cannot be found outside ourselves, it can’t be bought, or measured with a scale. There’s beauty in every body, no matter its size, shape, or story.
Too many women are blind to their greatness by society’s message that we are broken or not enough, and we let that lie hold us back from realizing our potential. The truth is, you are NOT broken, and you don’t need fixing. What you DO need is to truly get to know yourself and your body; learn to nourish your whole self, not just feed your body; and become your own best friend and ally.
