I was reading in Psalms 23 the other day, where David talks about how his “cup runneth over” I know he was talking about the goodness and mercy of God, but somehow it made me think of my cup (size, that is…).
Sometimes this becomes a topic of conversation, comparison, or competition with women. Well, my cup doth not run over, it doth not even be filled up…In fact, someone could “run over” it, and I’m pretty sure it would still fit me.
It used to really bother me that I’m not very well-endowed. But as the years have gone by, I’ve realized that this is actually a great stroke of luck, and that flat is where it’s at!
Allow me to elaborate-
1) I like to run, and I don’t have to invest in a particularly expensive or quality sports bra;
2) I like to sleep on my stomach, so no obstruction there, and
3) I will never have old lady breasts that hang to my navel. (Although I’m sure I’ll have plenty of other “old lady” issues to worry about.)
If your cup is full, don’t be jealous-I just really needed to get that off my chest. : )
